Patrik has worked professionally within system development since 2004 with Java,
.Net and products such as IBM Websphere and Microsoft SharePoint.
Patriks main strength is his ability to assimilate new knowledge within New areas and emerging
technologies and paradigms.
He has a keen eye for new trends and tries to foresee what
comes next not for the trend itself but for the sake of usability.
As development is not happening in a vacuum without the need for operations Patrik
has always tried to also have an understanding for the infrastructural challenges
that can come with applications and everything that comes with it such as integrations,
logging/monitoring and resilience on the environments which is needed for the application.
Work Experience
Senior developer and Architect
Responsible application developer for Sourcing Prerequisites. An application within Volvo Cars that is used by hundreds of buyers and capacity specialists for purchasing and handling capacity management of parts for the cars. Sourcing Prerequisites is developed upon SharePoint platform but is a Single page application based on Kendo UI, Angular, .NET and a custom database. It has several advanced integrations with other systems in both for getting and feeding data. Development is done in sprints and deployments are done at least by three weeks periods if not more often depending on business needs.
Senior Developer and maintenance Consultant
Within this role Patrik has been involved in several projects in .NET & SharePoint-development at VCC but also as an advisor to always improve on the different platforms and their services. As an example he has moved towards more javascript-based adaptations of SharePoint which has enabled deployments with zero downtime for the solutions. There is also always a watchout for emerging technologies that could provide more support such as Microsoft Application Insights to monitor the systems

Sharepoint 3rd Developer / Architect
The projects purpose was to create an e-service platform to facilitate the development of the e-services that the Stockholm City is using. It enables reusability of SOA-connections, graphical profile and other existing API:s and content. In this role the target has been to reuse an existing platform for external e-services and adapt it for internal use, and create methods and processes for handling of e-services that is using this platform.
Developer / Architect – Lync UCMA development
The projects purpose was to create a chatbased solution for the citizens of stockholm city. The first implementation was for an anonymous chat for socialtjänsten in order to discuss sensitive subjects. The part for the citizens was a web-based realtime chat and the other end was connected to Microsoft lync (today known as skype) for the personel at Stockholm Stad. Patrik was the sole developer for this project.
